Oakton's Cougar Robotics

The Oakton Robotics Club was founded in 2001 by Mr. Scholla. Originally, it was called the Oakton High School Robotics, Rocketry, and Jets Club, however the Jets club was later disbanded due to lack of interest. The robotics club thrived and was made a competitive club with an application process and now has a diverse group of 50 students. We pride ourselves as a club not to discriminate students and to let everyone have the right to participate in FTC or FRC competitions. Our parent board make sure to keep the club running smoothly by ordering parts and they handle any thing related to finances so we can focus on building the robot. We also have numerous mentors with knowledge of robotics who help students with using the machinery and with any other problems they may face.

Our Sponsors help us maintain a competitive robotics team

Without them, we wouldn't be able to be here. Click here for more information
